Do you suffer from Chronic Pain?

the neuropathy Treatment Institute is Here for you!

We specialize in the treatment of many different forms of chronic pain. Patients we treat suffer from issues such as painful diabetic neuropathy, chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, idiopathic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy, fibromyalgia, failed back surgery syndrome, and other forms of chronic pain.

These issues significantly impact your quality of life, and if left untreated may result in even more serious complications. Untreated chronic pain may lead to permanent nerve damage, an increased risk of falls (resulting from loss of balance) and leg ulcers. If leg ulcers are left untreated they may become infected – which in severe cases can lead to amputation. Do not let your chronic pain or painful neuropathy go untreated!

The Effex Procedure:

The Effex Procedure may offer a long-term solution for your chronic pain. It is a drug-free treatment option for the relief of long-term chronic pain from diabetic neuropathy and other conditions. All devices are FDA-approved and the procedure is quick, minimally invasive and outpatient.

8 out of 10 patients who undergo the Effex Procedure receive significant long-term pain relief (defined as 50% or greater reduction in pain).

For many sufferers of painful neuropathy, this is a revolutionary, effective, and affordable way to address a problem that they have dealt with for months or even years.

The Neuropathy Treatment Institute:

spinal cord stimulation experts

For patients who have exhausted more conservative treatments, spinal cord stimulators may be an effective means to treat chronic pain.

Spinal cord stimulation uses a very small battery that is implanted just above the glutes. Tiny wires from the battery connect to leads placed over the spinal cord. These leads emit a high-frequency signal which blocks unwanted pain signals from reaching your brain, providing lasting pain relief

The Neuropathy Treatment Institute process

Careful patient selection is the key to great outcomes. First, you will undergo a screening process to determine if the Effex Procedure is right for you.

If you are a candidate, you will be scheduled for a trial procedure. In the trial, the battery is not implanted, but worn on a belt for about a week. If you experience strong results, this means the permanent implant will almost certainly produce the same!

About 80% of trials are successful and the patients then move on to the permanent implant. That procedure is performed outpatient, meaning patients walk out of the surgery center on the same day.
